My darling, dear brother.
Your life has not been easy. In fact, it has been far more difficult than mine. You must have come into this world holding the vow to “drive all blames into one”. Born into a world where women were abused, raped, and abandoned; you have carried within your heart, the shame of all men.
You are a true warrior and a most beloved companion. I know your heart longs for union and deeply healing love, and you deserve it for all that you have sacrificed. May your heart and body be relieved from all the pain you carry within.
It has been an honour and a privilege to have spent our childhoods together. I remember the moment, I realised that we would not always be under one roof, playing gleefully as children. I remember the pain of that awareness. And I remember how mean I was to you. Thank you for your forgiveness. I too, carried the the pain of our ancestors, in the form of resentment and control.
You were younger, a victim of abuse and I wanted to protect you. You wouldn’t let me. You wouldn’t let me carry your burden. You released me and for this I am also grateful. I take it as my honour and duty to carry this lightness I am left with, so others may benefit.
Those of us who resonate with a sense of warriorship, feel it is our job to protect others, but what we are truly protecting is the sanctity of their essence within our own heart.
I see you, dear brother, finally. And I thank you for also seeing me.
